I will take an individual travel in shanghai with my friends, but I have no idea where to stay. Is there any recommended hotels and suggested attractions in shanghai for us to travel.
Hi! I recommend the The Best Western Shanghai Ruite Hotel, where I stayed during my business travel in shanghai. The hotel made a good impression on me. The Best Western Shanghai Ruite Hotel is a member of Best Western International, the World’s largest Hotel Chain. It has convenient transportation, offering the ideal access to Shanghai Hong Qiao International Airport (10 km) and Pudong International Airport (60 km). Also, the special windows in the guest rooms offer you good view for enjoying the night life of Shanghai. It would be a very nice choice for your friends and you. Another hotel that my roommate recommended is a unique one, called Shanghai New-westlake Hotel. This is the hotel that she stayed during her travel in Shanghai, and the hotel features classical and elegant style architecture. Located near the downtown street, Shanghai New-westlake Hotel offers easy access to Pudong International Airport (PVG.) in 48 km, Shanghai Hong Qiao International Airport (SHA) in 12 km and Shanghai Railway Station in 5 km. I have heard a nice hotel from my friend but I did have the experience staying there. The hotel is called Sofitel Hyland Shanghai. For its location, the hotel is only 17 km from Hong Qiao International Airport and 47 km from Pudong International Airport. It sounds a good choice. You may refer to the link:

If you want go shooing, the hotels mentioned above are near Nanjing road, the famous walking street for shopping and sightseeing, and have easy access to numerous tourist attractions, such as the Bund, People’s Square and Shanghai Museum and so on.
